My art studio and gas kiln
are in Federal Way, WA.
I have produced and sold pottery
in the Puget Sound region for
over 40 years. All my pottery is
handmade and high fired. I fire
my kiln to 2400 degrees. My ware
is lead free, oven and
dishwasher safe.
In addition, I teach private
and semi-private studio lessons
in clay, sculpture, painting and
drawing.
A northwest native, I got
hooked on pottery at Garfield
High School. I received a B.F.A.
in Ceramic Art and a B.A. in art
education from the U of W in
1974. I recently retired from 28
years teaching sculpture, art
and pottery.
Currently I am producing
functional work, as well as
garden sculptures and relief
clay paintings. I also enjoy
digital photography and painting
with oils.
